At Last . . . Our China Belle
Belle is doing great. She didn't cry much. As soon as she started Daddy handed her a rice cracker and she stopped. She is pretty stoic only smiling a couple of times. We just keep singing to her and loving on her, sooner or later she will understand how much we love her. Serenity is over the moon and totally smitten with her meimei!

I accidentally deleted mu 1st post about 10 minutes ago.. so here I go again! WOW! Words cannot describe how I felt looking at those first few photos of the "Gotcha" moment for Belle! All those memories came flooding back-- I am both envious & jealous & have a sense of melancholy!!!! I feel so priveleged to be able to see those first few moements that you became Belle's forever family!!! Just like Jamie was able to be there for Jordan's Gotcha! moment! AMAZING! And Miss Belle is definitely living up to her name... tres belle, for sure! Jamie- Jordan's only comment was "look!" & he pointed to your tears upon being handed Belle for the first time! The look on Serenity's face says it all---- PRICELESS! And Matt-- such a good Baba-- having that yummy rice cracker ready!! I bet he's done this -- what 4 times?!!!--- before!!! You will be a great comfort to the "first timers" in your adoption group! They look like a wonderful group of people--- I enjoyed looking at your photos from Tiannemen Square & the Hutong District! Memories.... for sure! Keep us posted-- can't wait to see how quickly she attaches to you all via photos! Looking so forward to meeting baby Belle in person SOON:) XOXO Christine & her China babies:)
